Tech book author. And GameCenter achievements are registering There can be soooooo much more to this game. As it is, its too random, too basic, not enough stats I only have the free version, and I've only played 12 games, but in those 12 times I've lost all but 2 of the matches -- and those losses weren't close by any means. The zombie players seemed to always run by the rule of "roll until you get two shotgun blasts", and that worked well; not only did they usually get the small gains brains , but they also got the huge gains brains too often.
I, on the other hand, tried to also observe the "roll until you get two shotgun blasts" rule and suffered for it. More times than not, I would have a single shotgun blast, think that it's safe to roll again and immediately get 2 more blasts. And then, of course, there were the lovely times of rolling well to start with 2 or 3 brains and then immediately getting a roll with 3 blasts. This is the first time I've encountered an iOS game where I even began to consider the possibility of weighted dice … and consequently I probably won't be picking it up again And to all those people who feel the need to rate this game badly and throw verbal mud at the developers - really?
You complain about a game you obviously got for free because all you are doing is playing against the computer, and you still have the guts or need to give a bad rating? Zombie Dice is a "press your luck" party dice game created by Steve Jackson Games and released in From Wiki. The gameplay of Zombie Dice is simple.
The player has to shake a cup containing 13 dice and randomly select 3 of them without looking into the cup and then roll them. The faces of each die represent either, brains, shotgun blasts or "runners" with different colours containing a different distribution of faces the 6 green dice have 3 brains, 1 shotgun and 2 runners, the 4 yellow dice have 2 of each and the 3 red dice have 1 brain, 3 shotguns and 2 runners.
The object of the game is to roll 13 brains. Better luck next turn! I hope you enjoyed my Instructable! I truly hope I made the rules clear for you. Zombie Dice really is a fun game.
My boyfriend and I seem to find ourselves playing it as we watch T. V in the evenings after a long day of work. It's fast, a good de-stresser, and makes the evening a little more fun! I hope you find yourself playing this game too. Have a great day! Participated in the Apocalypse Preparedness Contest. Question 9 months ago on Step 7. While I love the pictures and appreciate the guide, you should have read the rules! Lets say for example there are 3 players, player A, B and C.
If A then rolls brain, brain, shotgun, then rolls brain shotgun runner A is in a very precarious position, as they can either bank the 3 to leave them on 12 meaning that if B scores 4, A will never get chance to roll again and C would have to roll 6. Or they can roll again despite already having 2 shotguns on the board. The official rules state that the player who won the last game should roll first, however we personally found it works much better if you play in rotation taking it in turns to roll first per game, and playing first to win 5 games, this usually means a full match between 3 players will last approximately minutes.
Player A: SSS, unlucky! At this point player B is aware that player C only has to bank 2 brains to hit 13, but A would require 6 to hit 13, therefore B can arguably ignore A as its very unlikely A will score that many.
Player B will have to hope that they either roll 3 red brains, or even 2 red brains on the first roll, this greatly increases their chances of having a successful third roll, lets say Player B rolls BBR all green , then rolls BSS all green too. This now means that player B will have scored 3 brains, which if they bank those brains will total
